Fundada en 1968, APUNE es la asociación más antigua en Europa dedicada a cubrir las necesidades de los programas norteamericanos. Es una asociación cultural sin ánimo de lucro que busca profundizar y fomentar el intercambio internacional entre España y Estados Unidos. APUNE ofrece un foro de debate en el que las instituciones miembro comparten intereses e ideas comunes. Dada su dilatada presencia en España, APUNE ha venido a servir como una fuente para agencias de gobierno en España y Estados Unidos y se ha convertido en un importante foro que trata asuntos académicos y logísticos. The oldest association in Europe dedicated to the needs of American university programs abroad (founded 1968), APUNE (Association of American Programs in Spain) is a cultural, not-for-profit organization that seeks to both further and facilitate international exchange between the US and Spain. APUNE offers a forum where member institutions share common concerns and developments. Due to its long-standing presence, APUNE has come to serve as a resource for governmental agencies both in Spain and the US and has thus become an important forum for addressing both logistical and intellectual dimensions.
