Mitrata Inclusive Financial Services Private Limited (Formerly known as Sona Finance Private Limited) is a non-banking finance company (NBFC), regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. Mitrata Inclusive Financial Services providing credit facility to the marginalized, excluded and vulnerable groups for enterprise development and other essential needs. Mitrata aims on economic upliftment of the poor and marginalized across all religion, caste and communities. Mitrata implements activities to provide the marginalized households with easy access to financial services including access to credit and insurance. Majority of the beneficiary households supported by Mitrata belong to the marginalized groups including religious minorities, dalits, marginalized farmers, daily wage workers, very small self employed vendors, rickshaw pullers, primary producers such as brass workers, weavers & other artisans. Mitrata distributes small loans to poor women so they can start and expand simple businesses and increase their incomes for better livelihood. Currently, Mitrata presence in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
