Northwest Youth Discovery is a nonprofit group home for up to 10 at-risk adolescent girls in Bend, Oregon. Our mission is to provide a home where at-risk adolescent girls are empowered to make peace with their past, thrive in the present, and create a successful future. NWYD's residential treatment program provides evidence-based approaches to target those psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues that may have impeded the youth from achieving their full potential. Our high staff-to-youth ratio enables us to provide behavioral, emotional, social and psychological support while remediating risk factors. Northwest Youth Discovery's highly effective and comprehensive services seek to take on a wide range of treatment and experience gathering services and activities. Services include, but are not limited to: Case Management, Treatment Planning, Goal Development, Aftercare Services, Individual and Group Counseling, Crisis Support, Therapeutic Recreation, Educational Support, Culinary Education, Cultural Involvement, and Independent Living.
