History of the Company:
NaRaYa (Narai Intertrade Co,.Ltd.) was established in 1989, by Mr. Vassilios and his wife, Ms. Wasna Roongsaenthong, with a registered capital of one million baht. With Mr. Vassilios' background knowledge, they commenced a business of electronic apparatuses and mechanical gadget trading. After flourishing for a period of time, their business encountered problems deriving from a lack of product availability. Mr. Vassilios’ response was to initiate a new business of textile products and accessories. In 1993, a new factory was established, employing 15 staff members, who operated 15 sewing machines. The manufactured products were then sold in a small two-square meter retail store in Narai Phand.
Since then, business has flourished and NaRaYa’s growth has been rapid. Today, we are a fully integrated manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of our brands. We have a workforce across 5 wholly owned factories in Thailand, over 3,000 employees, and a cooperation with more than 4,000 makers in the Thailand countryside to produce our high-quality products.
NaRaYa has grown to become one of the most well-known Thai brands, with over 18 branches worldwide. NaRaYa has proven that even a small local business can evolve to become a large and successful one, in both domestic Thailand, as well as, in international markets. As of 2022, NaRaYa has established four sub-brands, which include:
● NaRaYa Silk: Designed clothing and bags made from silk
● LaLaMa: Bohemian style clothing and bags
● NaRaYa Tea Room: Specialty tea shop and light refreshments
● Darivari: Skincare products.
