SSA Architects originated in 1974 when the practice was formed by John F. Santry with offices in Waterford and Kilkenny. The practice was re-branded in 2004 and relocated its headquarters to 42 Haddington Road, Dublin 4. The practice currently has offices in Dublin and Waterford. The current directors are Shane Santry, BA (Hons) Arch., Dip. Arch, MRIAI, RIAI Conservation Grade III, and Dr. Susan Fitzgerald with John F. Santry, Dip. Arch., FRIAI, acting as a consultant. In addition to architecture, the practice has in house, multi-disciplinary expertise in fire safety, drainage engineering and quantity surveying.
