The Superior Hiking Trail Association (SHTA) is a non-profit organization based in Two Harbors, MN. SHTA provides human and financial resources to build, manage and enhance the Superior Hiking Trail to ensure a continuous footpath along the ridge line of the North Shore of Lake Superior from the Wisconsin border on the (south) to the Canadian border on the (north).
