Welcome to Children’s Service Center
Opened as the Home for Friendless Children in 1962, Children’s Service Center and its affiliate, Robinson Counseling Center, serves 11,000 children and adults annually throughout Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. As the region’s leader in mental health services for children, adults and families, CSC and RCC operate 26 programs in seven office locations, while serving numerous communities and 19 school districts families. A team of more than 500 professionals and support staff provide assessment, counseling and crisis services 24 hours a day, seven days a week across a continuum of care from least restrictive to residential treatment.
Services provided at its Campus in Wilkes Barre, PA include: psychiatric and psychological evaluations; drug & alcohol counseling; day partial hospitalization; dialectical behavioral therapy; medication clinic; parent-child interaction therapy; community residential rehabilitation; First Episode Psychosis services; and, adoption. In addition, Community, Family-based, and School-based services are provided throughout 13 counties in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania and include, but are not limited to: autism, behavioral health rehabilitation, functional and intensive family therapy.
