The Blandford School is a popular comprehensive school educating young people between the ages of 11-18. Our catchment area is wide and covers villages surrounding Blandford Forum as well as the town itself Currently we have 1071 students (Jan 2013) We have had a £12 million building project that has upgraded existing buildings and provided us with ‘state of the art’ facilities. Ofsted Inspection (October 2012) graded the school as good. Care, guidance and support are strengths of the school. Individual support includes a highly effective full- time Student Support Worker, an extremely strong SEN team and a successful liaison and transition programme Overall Whole School Attendance is 94.9%
