The South West Hospital and Health Service (SWHHS) provides public sector health services to a population of 26,150 across 319,870km of South West Queensland.
The Service consists of 11 hospitals (including 8 multi-purpose health services), 3 outpatient clinics, 2 residential aged care facilities and 2 community health centres.
Public sector health services provided by SWHHS include inpatient and outpatient care; visiting specialists; flying specialist teams providing surgery, obstetrics, gynaecology and paediatric services; allied health; community health; home and community care; residential aged care and other aged care services.
