Illien Adoptions International, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit child-placing agency, licensed by the State of Georgia, Hague-accredited for international adoption, assisting vulnerable children and families all over the world. Originally founded and opened in April 1982, Illien Adoptions has been working over the last thirty years to find families and permanency for orphans of all ages. Illien Adoptions currently has programs in India, Ethiopia, Ecuador, Azerbaijan, El Salvador, and the United States. Illien Adoptions seeks families for waiting children all over the world and encourages prospective adoptive parents to consider adopting children who are already declared legally free and eligible for intercountry adoption. They may be older, sibling groups, or children who might have some special needs. The common need of all of these orphans is that they need a permanent and loving family in order to blossom and reach their full potential as human beings. Illien Adoptions also supports a select number of humanitarian aid projects whose focus is on family preservation and prevention of abandonment of children.
