Mission:
We're opening a dialog between the makers of experiences (products, services, places, events...) and the consumers of them. Particularly the smarter ones.
Or, to break it down:
Want Magazine is about architecture obsession. Product lust. Digital adventure. How do the best designers create these feelings in others? How do consumers react to them?
We're starting with video interviews and articles featuring top-notch UX and design personalities. Jakob Nielsen (useit.com), Don Norman (The Design of Everyday Things), Dan Saffer (Kicker Studios), Peter Merholz (Adaptive Path), Bill Scott (Netflix), Luke Wroblewsky, and Cordell Ratzlaff (Cisco) are but a few. We are strongly focused on Interaction design, but we will be expanding coverage in Product Design and Architecture with our international team of dedicated editors.
Our readers range from professionals and design agencies, to anyone interested in the physical or digital product design industry…including prosumers thirsty for behind-the-scenes knowledge on their favorite products and services. Oh, and you. If you've read this far, Want Magazine wants you.
