Great Plains SPCA is one of the largest animal shelters in Kansas City, offering comprehensive resources for pets that strengthen the relationship between pets and their human companions. Serving approximately 5,000 pets annually, Great Plains SPCA works to save, protect and improve the lives of animals by providing humane sheltering, adoptions, behavior and training as well as the HERO Team’s humane community outreach. Great Plains SPCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
