Community development trust for North East Cumbria. The Brampton and Beyond Community Trust has been set-up to enable communities in North East Cumbria to undertake projects and develop services both as small community groups and as a whole community supporting potentially larger schemes. The current activities at the Brampton Community Centre include: day and after school care for children, the youth project, a dedicated arts and crafts building, Minibus, Café, a large performance hall and other meeting spaces. The Trust’s business plan extends beyond the Centre and covers a wide range of activities including training into employment, ICT skills development. establishing and Arts & Performance Centre, a Community Shop, a Visitor Hostel, domestic and industrial building efficiency improvements, and energy conservation, energy generation and supply.
