Quantitative Modeling and Industrial Policy Analysis Laboratory, better known as the QMIPA laboratory. The QMIPA Laboratory was established with the aim of:
- Supporting the achievement of the objectives of the Industrial Engineering Department of ITS in the field of optimizing quantitative evaluation as an alternative decision including by simulating.
- Support the achievement of the objectives of the ITS Industrial Engineering department in the field of Design and Information Systems
The activity held in the QMIPA Laboratory is divided into two major parts, namely routine and incidental activities. Activities carried out regularly by the QMIPA Laboratory are:
- ITC (Introducing to Computer)
- Industrial System Simulation
Other conditional or incidental activities handled by the QMIPA lab can be divided into 3 parts based on interests:
- Computer programming
- Database Management
- Project Management
- Facility Planning
To improve the ability of Information Technology, both Industrial, non-IT, corporate or industrial Engineering students are by holding computer training programs, including:
- Simulation: ARENA, ProModel, Vensim, Awesim
- Programming and databases: MS Project, MS Access, MS Visual Basic
- Support: SPSS, Lindo, Lingo, Expert Choice, Mathlab
