LOOKSfilm is dedicated to the production and distribution of documentaries, feature films and series, running offices in Berlin, Leipzig and Hanover. LOOKSfilm was founded in 1995, in the aftermath of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The experience that there is no one truth, but that history can always be seen from different perspectives, has always shaped LOOKSfilm's way of storytelling. Most of LOOKSfilm's documentary series are based on archive material, thus finding and restoring rare archive collections containing untold stories is a key driver for LOOKSfilm.
