SICSA's mission is to promote the welfare and adoption of companion animals, and to nurture loving, lifelong relationships between animals and people.
To support our mission, SICSA offers numerous animal-centered programs and services for families and children. We adopt over 1,600 dogs and cats into loving homes annually and spay/neuter 2,700 animals each year for the community. Over 700 junior and adult volunteers provide more than 23,000 hours of service to SICSA each year. We also provide quality humane education to more than 4,300 children annually. Our Paw Partners Social program brings the joy and comfort of animal companionship to hundreds of residents in nursing homes and hospitals with SICSA's adoptable animals, as well as providing socialization for the animal.
SICSA is a private, 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We receive no government funding and are not affiliated with any national humane societies or SPCAs. We rely on the generosity of our donors. Donations are tax-deductible under section 501(c)3 of the IRS code.
