St. Boniface is a relatively new school. It was established in 1966 by Fr. Lamantia. The building was originally designed as a religious education center in 1964 but with some minor adaptations, it has functioned as an elementary ever since.
Approximately 5 years ago, the school fell into some difficult financial problems. The parish and numerous others rose up with fervor and aided the school both financially and otherwise to ensure that no matter how small, the school will always survive. St. Boniface has become known throughout the state as the “little school that could” and is an example of how Catholic education can adapt to the times.
Since that crisis, we have revisited how the school is run. We are now a multi-age classroom environment. These challenges have made us better and we believe that we offer one of the best elementary schools in the area. Let us know if you would like to come and visit.
