Salm Partners is a contract manufacturer of fully cooked, premium sausage and hot dog products. The company was founded in 2004 by four brothers, Joe, Pete, Chris and Mark Salm. They pooled their individual talents together to create our organization, using the “partnership” concept as the cornerstone for success.
The Salm brothers had the foresight to invest in innovative manufacturing technology that set it apart in the meat industry. This technology is based on two processes: co-extrusion, and cook-in-package. The end result is sausage that is superior in taste and quality, and superior from a food safety standpoint as well. The products Salm produces have changed the marketplace for the better. The company continues to seek out new technologies in the food industry that have the same market-changing potential.
We broke ground here in Denmark in July of 2004, building the facility from the ground up. Our first dinner sausage product hit the production line in March 2005, and we have been going – and growing – ever since. Our current workforce is nearly 450 partners, with 4 lines of production in operation around-the-clock. We have also extended our capabilities to include onsite blending & formulation of product.
