St. Vincent de Paul High School, founded in 1918, is a small, coeducational Roman Catholic, college preparatory parish high school.
We are located in Petaluma, California, one mile away from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and our partner elementary school.
Our school has a strong sense of community and support among our students, faculty and staff. In the 2008 WASC report, our school was described by the visiting team as the “Friendliest School in America.”
There are currently 200 students (grades 9-12) in attendance who come from southern Sonoma County and northern Marin representing 20+ different partner schools. We are a part of the Diocese of Santa Rosa and are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA).
The mission of St. Vincent de Paul High School is to educate students through a college preparatory curriculum that develops their spiritual, academic, and social potential. As a Catholic school, we teach Gospel values and ideals and provide opportunities for our students to experience and grow in their faith. Our goal is for students to become compassionate, responsible and active members of their communities.
