The Canadus HD-1224, the original battery desulfator is tested and proven for OEM line production. The original HFBD technology was developed in Canada in 1993 and it is incorporated into all Canadus Battery Desulfators. The technology has been proven successful in thousands of applications worldwide.
Canadus Battery Desulfators are installed on existing batteries to charging systems, sending high-frequency electrical pulses into the battery. Their high-energy output is superimposed over the normal charging current. The pulse energy dissolves lead sulfate crystals, freeing the trapped lead and sulfuric acid, and allowing the battery to recharge completely. The result is that for new batteries the plates are maintained at peak condition. For older batteries, the high-frequency pulse removes and dissolves existing sulfate buildup and rejuvenates their performance.
