International School Manila (ISM) is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian day school for students from Preschool to Grade 12 in the Philippines. Established in 1920, it is the oldest international school in Manila and the first to offer the IB Diploma program in Asia. The School is governed by a ten-member Board of Trustees elected from and by the parents of enrolled students and by Sustaining Members of the Corporation.
In June 2002, ISM moved to its current location - a purpose-built, state-of-the-art campus on a seven hectare site located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Facilities include: 400m all-weather track, 3 playing fields, 3 swimming pools, Sports Hall, 8 tennis courts, 3 fully air-conditioned gymnasiums, fitness gym, 2 canteens, 3 Libraries with over 80,000 print and non-print resources, 920-seat Fine and Performing Arts Theater, Little Theater for multi-purpose activities with retractable seating, Amelita M. Ramos Hall - performance space with retractable seating and modular stage, Design Technology and Robotics Suite, Music wing with advanced sound modules, fully equipped Film Lab, Specialized Learning Support Center and Early Years Center.
Over the decades, our many thousands of alumni have spanned the globe to pursue their paths and passions. Our green and gold colors will always reflect the bond and school spirit that spring from their time in Manila.
With an international community of over 2,000 students and 400 employees, ISM celebrated 100 years of service in 2020. Our rich history and deep roots link us inextricably to our host country, the Philippines, and our values of Integrity, Service and Merit will guide this community through the next century of learning.
