Carter Holmes Ltd was established in July 2007 and is jointly owned by Andy Carter and Lisa Holmes. It is primarily an IT consultancy and project company, however our clients and projects are extremely diverse, ranging from project managing vehicle builds for a small coachbuilder to defining the IT Strategy for a Community Interest Company delivering complex healthcare services. From strategic consulting, through innovative IT systems design, to delivering real business benefits and savings, we are passionate about the delivery of solutions that are user friendly and benefit staff in fulfilling their duties and the business in terms of return on investment and future proofing. We are a small team with senior level consultancy skills, detailed technical skills and experienced project support. Although you may engage Andy to lead the foundation stages of a very complex major projects (drawing on his vast experience covering PFI/PPP, Total Facilities Management as well as the design, delivery and implementation of IT systems) Andy will draw upon the skills and experience within our team to produce any deliverables in the most effective and efficient manner we can. Ensuring bids and implementation projects have a focus on providing solutions in terms of ‘how’ rather than ‘what’ has ensured that Carter Holmes continue to deliver the required business benefits, as well as a working technical solution. This approach and our leadership has led to us increasingly being asked to direct the design and development of detailed business processes, i.e. a holistic solution rather than pure technological one, followed by the managing the business change using a combination of disciplined change management and project management activities including consultation and communications with staff.
