CASE - Center for Social and Economic Research is a Warsaw-based international policy research and policy-advising institute founded in 1991. CASE provides objective economic analysis on a broad spectrum of issues related to European integration, the global economy, and economic and social development. Geographically, CASE projects focus on the European Union, EU candidate and potential candidate countries, the EU Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, and Central Asia.
Its three flag publication series - CASE Network Reports, CASE Network Studies and Analyses and CASE Network E-Briefs - regularly present the results of CASE research and policy advising work as well as commentary on current economic developments. CASE has also built a network of daughter research organizations in several countries of the former USSR.
