Polish Air Force (POL AF) - /Polish: Sily Powietrzne (SP)/ is one of the four services in Polish Armed Forces. It comprises the Air Forces, the Ground Based Air Defence Forces (GBAD) and the Radar Forces (Air Surveillance And Control Systems). The mission of POL AF is to defend national air space and territory and to participate in allied operations (NATO) out of Poland. The POL AF undergoes modernisation of its equipment and becomes fully proffesional service.
