We welcome everyone from all backgrounds to share an interest in water and the environment We are the modern City of London Livery Company focussed on the long-term sustainability of our water resources and environment. Our mission is to promote a diverse and sustainable environment. We seek to spread awareness of the science, art and practice of water and environmental management across education, business, government, organisations and society. We tackle diverse environmental issues and promote technical excellence in water, waste, energy, resources and other environmental subjects through lectures, webinars and debates including our City Water Debate. We play a leading role in the City’s environmental and climate change initiatives. We support our younger members through a targeted programme of mentoring and events. Through the Water Conservation Trust, our charity, we support greater access to water and environmental education at all levels, helping schools, enabling visits, and providing bursaries and prizes for students.
