All plates are fully certified by the manufacturer and every plate is supplied along with its own unique test certificate. Since the introduction of its first profiling machine in the 1970s, Brown McFarlane has developed a full range of value added services in addition to the cutting of steel enabling the customer to buy semi-finished component pieces rather than just plate. It is possible to process plates up to 400 mm thick and weighing up to 20 tonnes.
