Body in Common is a group of Fitness Pilates and Clinical Pilates studios in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya.
Our motto is 'real fitness for real bodies', and our focus is on creating a safe space for people who don't feel comfortable in other fitness businesses. We've crafted a team of Pilates Trainers and Physiotherapists from many races and backgrounds, and want to bring health, fitness, and community to everyone.
Body in Common runs both clinical classes and fitness classes. Fitness classes are for people with few issues that would like to increase their strength, flexibility, and overall fitness. The clinical side is focused on working with clients who have specific issues, such as pain, injuries, or health conditions. One size doesn't fit all, and we work with you to make sure you get the most out of your experience.
Both our clinical and our fitness streams focus on using the Australian Clinical Pilates methodology. This methodology has exercises for both men and women and focuses on all aspects of the body. The key to this method is using real Physiotherapists with a proper training in anatomy and rehabilitation techniques.
