Colorlord Ltd acquired Brian Clegg Educational Products Ltd and Ronald Britton Ltd in March 2008. Brian Clegg was formed in 1973 and is the UK's largest supplier of paint, PVA glue and collage materials for educational use, as well as having an established nursery toys business. Ronald Britton Ltd is the UK's largest supplier of glitter into education and was merged with Brian Clegg in 2008. Ronald Britton also has a thriving metals business, selling metal powders into the diamond tool and industrial coating industries and into powder metallurgy applications.
