The Joint, Arkansas' finest cabaret style theatre, is the brainchild of nationally renowned artists Steve & Vicki Farrell.
The venue includes a coffee café bar featuring custom roasted coffees, premium craft beers, grab-and-go snacks, and choice wines and champagnes.
The theatre is available by day as a fun space to utilize for business meetings and small conferences, and by night for remarkable team building opportunities or private parties.
Steve Farrell has enjoyed a life-long career as a playwright, director, composer, actor, and comedian. Steve's writing has been featured on MTV, Saturday Night Live, Off Broadway, NPR’s All Things Considered, The Today Show, and NBC’s Nightly News. For Ten years, Steve’s comedy was syndicated nationally by Dick Clark’s United Stations Radio Network. Steve was head writer and Director of Houston’s Comedy Workshop and Radio Music Theatre, which produced his original plays exclusively from 1984-2011.
Vicki Farrell came from a theatre family in St Louis, Missouri, where she began acting and dancing at the age of seven. Vicki earned a BA in theatre at Fontbonne College, and started her acting career on The Showboat Rhododendron on the Mississippi River, where she met her future husband, Steve. Vicki moved to Houston, to become a charter member of The Comedy Workshop and the founder and managing director of Radio Music Theatre, where she performed from 1984-2011.
