Since 2005, Watertown Cable Access Corp (WCA-TV) has been Watertown's Public, Education, & Government Access (PEG) station. Our mission is to provide coverage of local events, meetings, and news, as well as access to our equipment and facility to engage our community and amplify their voices.
Our Public channel consists of community events, news, and locally produced programming. On our Education channel, you will find school events, sports, library presentations and WHS student produced programming. Our Government channel provides all your gavel to gavel coverage of local municipal meetings, including City Council, School Committee, Zoning Board, and more. WCA-TV also streams online 24/7, and all of our videos can be accessed on-demand anytime on our website.
Here at WCA-TV we not only aim to provide programming to residents, but we also encourage our community to come in and create their own programming. Becoming a member is free and easy, and after just one short orientation session, members gain access to our facility and field equipment. We also offer a variety of production focused workshops that, when completed, will grant even further access to our studio and editing suites. Our goal is to develop content produced primarily by the Watertown community.
Our members are free to express themselves in a multitude of ways and are not limited to what they can produce. We are always accepting new members, and there’s nothing we love more than showcasing the diversity of our city through the people that make it so unique.
