OUR EXPERTISE We are an interior design studio rooted in wellness. Our studio specializes in interior environments, be it residential or commercial, that wish to incorporate a component of health + well-being into their space. Our approach applies lessons from nature. This includes maximizing the connection to the outdoors, increasing access to natural light, applying grounding color palettes, introducing opportunities for plants and always selecting healthy + sustainable materials + furniture. This looks + feels different for every individual and company. Our goal is to create sanctuary + wellness through space. THE NAME Mokume (pronounced Mo-ku-may) is a metalsmithing term that fuses two like metals. Having an affinity for metalsmithing and appreciating the symbolic concept of the mokume craft, Mokume Design Studio also fuses two like principles – wellness with design. OUR ETHOS Our studio is a proud member of 1% for the Planet. This means that 1% of our revenue goes directly to non-profit organizations protecting the environment through their work.
