The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders was founded in 1994 by two groups of cancer specialists who had been in separate private practices for nearly fifteen years. With a hope to provide cutting edge cancer treatment, the vision to build the first all-encompassing cancer facility in Tarrant County, and the commitment to never give up, The Center’s 54,000 square foot main campus was built in Fort Worth in 2005, providing free parking, complimentary valet service, and hotel-like surroundings that have proved a great comfort to cancer patients and their families. The “family-centered” culture and warm, welcoming atmosphere continue to play a significant part in the focus on healing lives.
Today, The Center has grown to include more than 25 cancer specialists and more than 150 health care professionals representing many different areas of medical and administrative services across 9 locations throughout North Texas. Our providers are committed to remaining on the forefront of cancer-fighting technologies, groundbreaking research and integrated therapies, offering patients across North Texas access to one of the nation’s most highly respected cancer centers.
