The association Festival della Scienza is a no-profit organization fostering initiatives aimed at enhancing and promoting the dissemination of scientific knowledge both at a national and at an international level. The association realizes the Genova Science Festival. Yearly realized in Genoa since 2003, the Genova Science Festival (www.festivalscienza.it) is the most relevant event for scientific popularization in Italy and among the most important ones in Europe. Thanks to a language that links togheter the public and the leading experts and researchers, and to a calendar of outstanding events, each year the Genova Science Festival proves to be a unique place for schools, enthusiasts, researchers and curious people. With his balanced mix of top-level conferences, exhibitions, interactive laboratories and specials events, Genoa Science Festival allows to his visitors (about 210.000 in 2009) to explore the planet of science from every angle. Sustained by a long tradition and a continuously growing support, the Science Festival is now at the center of a network that draws together international and national research institutes.
