Founded in Toms River in 1970, the Ocean County YMCA is a powerful association of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. We are a mission based 501(c)(3) organization committed to helping people learn, grow and thrive. YMCA's serve people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes regardless of their ability to pay the full cost of membership or programs. The Y cause is to strengthen community. Child care at the Y is about more than looking after kids. It’s about nurturing their development and providing a safe place to learn. For more than 30 years, the Y has been offering Before and After School Care. Y-Kids is a School Based State Licensed Child Care Program designed to help families build self sufficiency by providing safe, affordable, high quality childcare. Summer Camp is a welcoming environment for campers to express themselves, try new activities, learn new skills, be creative, make lasting friendships and have a great time! Good things come together at the Ocean County YMCA. Little ones build skills and gain confidence. People connect while strengthening their spirit, mind and body.
