Our mission is to empower elementary school children in Guatemala by providing access to an unparalleled literacy curriculum and professional teacher training that creates new opportunity pathways for the next generation. Our premier program is a comprehensive literacy program, taught to first and second graders in Guatemala. This program, titled "Open Books, Open Minds," includes a state-of-the-art curriculum, high quality classroom materials, as well as teacher training and ongoing professional development for the teachers.
