Hospice of Humboldt was founded in 1978 by a small group of volunteers. We saw our first patient in January 1979. Today, we are team of over 100 providing care for people with a life-threatening illness. The focus of care offered by Hospice of Humboldt is on quality of life with an emphasis on pain control and symptom management. We are an independent, non-profit agency that provides palliative care, hospice and grief support services.
