The People’s Solar Energy Fund aggregates community solar projects in low and moderate income communities across the country to secure financing at scale with a path to local ownership. These high impact investments contribute to wealth building, job creation, racial justice, resilience, and a more democratic economy. The Fund is organized as a cooperative of community based solar developers. It provides peer technical assistance, project pre-development funding, project term debt, and project equity for Member projects. PSEF Members include the Climate Justice Alliance, Co-op Power, Cooperative Energy Futures, Emerald Cities Collaborative, Indigenous Environmental Network, Local Clean Energy Alliance, NAACP, People Power Solar Energy Cooperative, and The Working World.
