Bumitama Gunayaya Agro (BGA Group) is one of the leading producers of palm oil (PO) & palm kernel (PK), with oil palm plantation in Indonesia. Listed on the Singapore Exchange since 2012, our primary business activities are cultivating oil palm trees, as well as harvesting and processing fresh palm fruit bunches (FFB) into PO and PK, which we sell to refineries in Indonesia. Our Group also owns a biodiesel plant in Gresik, East of Java. Our operations are strategically located in three provinces in Indonesia; namely Central Kalimantan, West Kalimantan and Riau, areas which are well-suited for the oil palm industry. As of 31 December 2016, we own and/or control an approximately of 225,000 hectares of land (including land under the Plasma Programme), of which 175,243 hectares are planted area. Our Group has a young oil palm trees profile where only about half of the planted area has reached peak production age.
