Founded in 1998, LCSS is the one of the largest student run organizations at LUMS, and is unique in its active involvement in year-round community service; providing a range of opportunities for all interested in giving back to the society.
We at LCSS believe in bridging the societal gap present in our society and are actively involved in project throughout the year that serve a variety of needs and individuals to ensure that nothing and no one is left unnoticed.
The members of LCSS are passionately involved in various projects and events to help those who are deprived of kin, health and other worldly necessities. Some of our core projects include Bloodlink, TFC-Teach for Change, Children’s Hospital, SOS Village, Microfinance and PULSS – Project for Uplifting of LUMS Support Staff.
LCSS is also actively involved in relief activity throughout the year that involves but is not limited to; blood drives, relief drives and donation drives for specific projects/needs, with the aim of providing assistance whenever and wherever.
