Indian Network for Development Exchange (Idex) designs and locally supports volunteer and travel programs in India that are educational, culturally immersive, and beneficial to the social development of local communities in need.
Volunteer Programs
Idex selects, trains, and supports international volunteers to work towards the social development of Indian communities in need. In some projects, volunteers support local government organizations to enhance the social services provided to the community. In other areas, volunteers support Idex’s independent social development projects or Idex's partner non-profit organizations. Specific initiatives vary according to location, season, and the evolving needs of local communities. However, in all projects, volunteers contribute to the empowerment of local communities through enhanced education, care, and social services.
Idex volunteers currently promote social initiatives that support:
* Teaching
* Child Care
* Orphanages Assistance
* Women Empowerment
* Mentally Challenged Children
* Medical and Health Related
