Standard Engineering & Field Services was founded in 1951 as a professional engineering firm specializing in geotechnical and materials testing and engineering services for the construction and manufacturing industries. We are proud to be the oldest continuously operating geotechnical firm in Oklahoma and employing highly-trained and experienced engineers, field and laboratory technicians, ACI transportation construction inspectors, and administrative staff at our laboratory facilities in Oklahoma City, Lawton, and Enid.
Each of Standard's three laboratories in Oklahoma hold various combinations of accreditation and/or validation by the AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials) Accreditation Program (AAP), the ICBO (International Conference of Building Code) Evaluation Service accreditation program, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ validation program.
Standard maintains current AAP accreditation in asphalt mixture, soils, aggregate, sprayed fire-resistive material, and concrete testing. Our laboratory has AAP accreditation for C1077 (Aggregate), D3666 (Concrete), D3666 (Aggregate), D3666 (Asphalt Mixture), D3740 (Soils), and AASHTO E329 for Aggregate, Asphalt Mixture, Concrete, Sprayed Fire-Resistive Material, and Soil, “Specifications for Agencies Engaged in the Testing and/or Inspection of Materials Used in Construction.” Additionally, Standard is currently accredited by AAP for over 50 different ASTM soil testing standards and 112 other testing standards.
