The Minnesota Higher Education Facilities Authority (the “Authority”) takes pride in our statutory role to assist nonprofit colleges and universities across Minnesota to finance or refinance their capital needs. Our mission is fulfilled through the issuance of tax-exempt or taxable bonds and notes, and lending the proceeds directly to educational institutions. The Authority also provides planning and post-sale support for borrower schools, guiding them in managing their financial obligations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, monitoring credit markets for refunding opportunities, and providing responsive assistance throughout the term of the financing.
