The National Robotarium is a world-leading centre for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence based at Heriot-Watt University, in partnership with The University of Edinburgh. Located in Edinburgh, our multimillion pound, purpose-built facility has unrivalled technology and laboratories for the development and testing of robotics and AI solutions across three distinct areas; Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS), Human and Robot Interaction (HRI) and Precision Laser Applications (PLA). Funded by the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal, The National Robotarium forms part of the City Deal’s Data Driven Innovation (DDI) theme which aims to establish the region as the data capital of Europe.
