BCLR's inception in September 1993 preceded South Africa's political freedom by some six months. The firm was premised on fundamental synergies: a common vision to develop a differentiated corporate law firm offering specialised knowledge, superior, personalised service and added value; and, a united belief among the founding partners in the potential of a free, globally incorporated South Africa. We are delighted that the political and economic evolution of the company and the growth of the firm in the years following have affirmed these early assumptions.
