Since 1985 the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) has provided assistance and support to lawyers protecting the rights of employees.
NELA is the country’s only national bar association exclusively comprised of lawyers who represent employees in cases involving employment discrimination, illegal workplace harassment, wrongful termination, denial of employee benefits, and other employment-related matters. NELA and its 69 state and local affiliates have more than 4,000 members nationwide.
NELA is the source for the plaintiff’s employment lawyer. Your membership in NELA is the best partner your legal career can have with opportunities for professional development through networking, educational programs, publications, and technical support.
Together, NELA members share a collective and powerful voice in promoting the workplace rights of individual employees through legislation, public policy, amicus briefs, and other activities.
NELA offers acclaimed national and regional CLE programs that will enhance and improve your practice. NELA’s Annual Convention is an exciting and unique opportunity to learn about the most recent developments and trends in plaintiff’s employment law.
