Based in Corby, the mother and daughter owned and managed Little Learners Childcare offers a home from home and provides a friendly and child centred approach to childcare, based in a professional, stimulating and loving environment. Brand New to January 2011 the nursery has warm, friendly and qualified staff with many years experience in the childcare sector, as well as a dedication to quality play and learning experiences for children. Their 'Image of the Child' is that all children are competent and confident learners and are naturally inquisitive and believe that children are fascinating to observe, have an unlimited potential and that they require the love of attentive, caring adults and a well thought out environment in order for them to reach their full potential. The nursery has been purposely converted to an outstanding finish and employs fully qualified and passionate staff, to ensure high standards are maintained throughout. The nursery is designed to be flexible to meet the needs of the community as well as the individual children, helping families to return to work with peace of mind. The nursery's child-centred approach is inspired by the Reggio Approach and Montessori Method, bringing together important aspects from both and placing children at the heart of everything they do within the nursery. The nursery is open Mon - Fri, 7:30am - 6:00pm, 51 weeks a year and caters for children aged 8 weeks - 12 years. Free home visits and settling in sessions are an important part of the child's learning journey at Little Learners. Little Learners Childcare is open to all families in the community and although based in Corby and within the school grounds, is very convenient for other close by villages and towns such as Rothwell, Desborough, Rushton, Great Oakley, Brampton Ash, Pipewell, Weldon and Cottingham. The nursery is also close by to Earlstrees, Willowbrook East and Weldon North Industrial Estates. The nursery is managed by Sam White who has worked within the childcare industry for many years. Sam is well trained and experienced to take good care of the children, staff and families as well as the nursery setting, having previously worked for and managed a large variety of childcare settings.
