Humanities Tennessee is a nonprofit organization that fosters community and civility in Tennessee through engaging programs that examine and reflect upon stories, history, arts and culture, traditions, beliefs, and ideas. Since 1973, Humanities Tennessee has conducted and supported public humanities programming across the state. We focus on local history, literary arts, and civic life.
