SFedU - Taganrog Institute of Technology of today is a young, fast developing specialized institution of higher education. Its academic and research activities are mainly centered around Telecommunication, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science and related areas. SFedU - TIT comprises seven colleges, a Research Institute of Multiprocessor Computing Systems, five design offices and an experimental plant. The total SFedU - TIT enrollment is about 11,000. SFedU - TIT offers a wide range of degrees in various scientific areas. Usually it takes four years of study to get the Bachelor in Engineering and Technology Degree and five years to get the Specialist Diploma in Engineering. On successful completion of the Bachelor program it is possible to continue training in the Institute on one of postgraduate programs leading to Master, Candidate of Science of Doctor of Science Degrees. The Institute joins about 600 faculty members, including 90 Professors and Doctors of Science and more than 400 Candidates of Science. More than sixty faculty members are the Active and Correspondent Members of different national and international academies.
