After working in a software development role, Alex Spurgeon moved to the plastic assembly and automation industry. He spent seven years at a engineering design company in various capacities before ultimately moving into Director of Operations.
During this time, he developed a niche business, a line of ultrasonic products for the poultry industry, and a patented revolutionary heat-staking technology. He also discovered the frustrations of working with contractors who don’t adapt to your standards or provide the quality of work you need to keep things running smoothly.
That’s why he designed Colinear Core to be an extension of a firm's engineering department. He focuses on following clients’ internal procedures and design expectations, helping them solve problems without creating new ones in the process. He’s also an FAA licensed drone pilot who spends his free time tinkering in the garage.
