PRESENS was founded in 1996 to commercialize a patented pressure sensing technology developed by the Foundation for Scientific and Industrial Research (SINTEF) in Norway. The unique design of the sensing element enables extremely accurate and stable measurement of pressure and temperature in severe environments. In 1998, PRESENS secured their first commercial installation. Since then, PRESENS has further developed and adapted their technology to numerous applications. Today, PRESENS pressure sensors are found in demanding applications throughout the globe.
